The Redcat RC Cars are specialists on pavement, asphalt, or track. They can move across others surfaces, as well, but their best speeds will show on smooth surfaces. They have low clearance, and low center of gravity, and well balanced for jumps. At this time, all of the Redcat RC Cars are 4 Wheel Drive, so all of the wheels are providing thrust as they get traction. The Redcat RC vehicles are shipped Ready to Run right out of the box, including a charger for the power packs. Just charge the power pack, insert 8 AA Alkaline batteries for the transmitters, and you're ready to race! For the nitros, you'll need an additional 4 AA Alkaline batteries for the ESC units, the starter kit listed on the Accessories page, and some nitro fuel, of course. Other accessories that you may need for these are listed on the Accessories page. Replacement parts are available, and we will get those listed, as time goes on. If you want to run a conversion on the dimensions, 25.4mm=1 inch.
